This role will play a key part in enabling analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases while staying ahead ofemerging Snowflake capabilities , including technologies such asSnowflake Cortex.The adecuado candidate is hands‐on, technically strong, and comfortable working across the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation through optimization and enablement of downstream analytics and AI‐driven use cases.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high‐performance data pipelines usingSnowflakeas the core data platformBuild and optimizeETL/ELT workflowsusingMatillionand PythonDevelop reusable, well‐documented Python code for data processing, orchestration, and automationOptimize Snowflake performance through effective use of clustering, partitioning, warehouses, and cost‐management best practicesPartner with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into reliable data solutionsEnsure data quality, reliability, and governance across pipelines and datasetsStay current onemerging Snowflake technologies and features , includingSnowflake Cortex , and evaluate opportunities for adoptionSupport advanced analytics, reporting,



and AI/ML use cases by delivering clean, well‐modeled dataParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to data platform best practices and standardsTroubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues in production environmentsRequired Qualifications6+ years of hands‐on experienceas a Data Engineer or in a similar role6+ years of Snowflake experience , including schema design, performance tuning, and optimizationStrong experience designing and buildingETL/ELT pipelinesAdvanced proficiency in Pythonfor data engineering use casesStrong experience with Matillionfor Snowflake‐based data integrationSolid understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas)Experience working with large‐scale, cloud‐based data platformsStrong SQL skills and experience optimizing complex queriesAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross‐functional teamsPreferred / Nice‐to‐Have QualificationsExperience or exposure toSnowflake Cortexor other emerging Snowflake AI/ML capabilitiesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience supporting analytics, BI, or data science teamsKnowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipelinesExperience with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud data environments
