Epic Business Analyst — Nearshore Mexico

Position Summary
United Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Epic Business Analysts to support U.S. healthcare clients across Epic implementation, optimization, testing, documentation, workflow analysis, and production support initiatives.
Experience Levels
- **Associate Business Analyst**: 2-4 years of relevant experience
- **Mid-Level Business Analyst**: 4-6 years of relevant experience
- **Senior Business Analyst**: 6-8 years of relevant experience
- **Lead / Principal Business Analyst**: 8-10+ years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Epic-related workflows.
- Support Epic Tapestry, claims, membership, benefits, authorization, referral, utilization management, care management, provider, or payer-related business processes.
- Conduct workflow analysis and identify operational gaps, system issues, and process improvement opportunities.
- Create business requirements documents, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, user stories, and process maps.
- Support test-case development, UAT planning, defect review, regression testing, and issue resolution.
- Assist with claims testing, benefit validation, data verification, and workflow testing.
- Coordinate with U.S.based stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve open issues.
- Participate in daily standups, project meetings, status updates, and client-facing discussions.
- Maintain project documentation within Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Support go-live readiness, training documentation, operational handoffs, and post-go-live activities.




- Escalate project risks, blockers, and requirement gaps when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Healthcare Analyst, Epic Analyst, or related role.
- Experience supporting U.S. healthcare, health plans, hospitals, managed care organizations, revenue cycle operations, or payer environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, business rules, testing methodologies, and operational documentation.
- Excellent requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely while collaborating with U.S.based teams during overlapping business hours.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, QA teams, developers, operations teams, and client leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Certification or Epic Proficiency preferred but not required.
- Experience with healthcare payer workflows including claims, benefits, member enrollment, referrals, authorizations, utilization management, and provider data management.
- Familiarity with EDI/X12 transactions including 837, 835, 834, *******, and *******.
- SQL experience for reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Visio, Lucidchart, or Confluence.
- Prior experience supporting U.S. healthcare clients in nearshore, offshore, or distributed delivery models.
