OverviewWorking as a bridge between customers and engineering teams, Application Specialists use customer input and sales information to recommend, design or re-design, develop, test and implement products.
They also provide technical support and expertise to customers, testing applications, responding to customer feedback, installations, and often performing sales presentations and product demonstrations.Application Specialist reach across many departments, working with the engineering team, the sales team, the customer service team and the manufacturing team.The individual will be responsible for developing systems to process claims timely, claim validation, warranty trend analysis, and warranty improvement prioritization.
The position will be accountable for reporting to customers, manufacturing plants, and senior management.
This includes Motive and Network Power claims.ResponsibilitiesBecome the subject matter expert for all assigned products sold into the market, to include hardware and software.Train sales and service team on latest hardware and software product offerings.Train end users on hardware and software product offerings.Assist sales team in power studies and product/application solutions.Assist sales team in presentations and demonstrations of products to agents, dealers and end users.Communicate feedback from the field to Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments.Perform application trouble shooting to ensure product is properly used.
Analysis performed at customer site as well as remotely by phone,



Email or other means.Evaluation of the current customer and branch network return policies and procedures and propose improvementsManage the collection and prioritization of batteries to be analyzedQualificationsEducations, Experience, Certifications:Minimum of 4 year technical degree in engineering or qualityProficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and OutlookBe able to understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructionsRead electronic schematics for products with purpose of gaining understanding of circuit operation and identifying product failuresIdentify, analyze, and repair electronic product failures3 years related experience in quality assurance, process engineering, or product engineeringCompetencies, Skills, Knowledge:Organized and methodical to handle large amounts of information efficiently and effectivelyStrong verbal/written communication skillsProeficiency in EnglishMaintain professional manner while under stressful conditions, such as unsatisfied customer or urgent deadline.Capacity to facilitate teamwork across departmentsStrong computer skillsTroubleshooting and analytical abilityMust be quality and customer orientedAble to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment on multiple projectsKnowledgeable in spreadsheets, statistical software, and statistical data analysisImpeccable communication,
