Remote Technology Designer (Structured Cabling / Low Voltage Systems)
, a dynamic platform focused on connecting exceptional talent with innovative companies, is seeking a Remote Technology Designer specializing in Structured Cabling and Low Voltage Systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and documentation of low voltage systems, including structured cabling (voice/data networks), access control, audio/visual (A/V), CCTV/security systems, wireless infrastructure.Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and IT teams.Prepare drawings, specifications, and detailed layouts for low voltage systems.Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, etc.).
Review submittals and support construction administration when required.RequirementsRCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification preferred (not mandatory but highly valued).5+ years of experience in technology systems design, ideally for commercial,
institutional, or mixed-use projects.Experience in science and technology projects including cleanrooms, laboratories, specialized manufacturing facilities, and other spaces with distinct and highly specific requirements.Revit and CAD knowledge.Experience with U.
