Our client school in San Miguel de Allende is seeking an English Section Coordinator for August ****.
Job Summary
Multilevel (K-9th grade) school is seeking an English Section Coordinator to oversee ALL (Science, Math, Literature, Arts, etc.) instruction taught in English within a socio-constructivist and dual language immersion approach.
Job Description
Leading ALL instruction taught in English and supervising all aspects of instruction: professional development for teachers, lesson planning and delivery, interdisciplinary projects, student intervention and support.
Facilitating and leading parent meetings.
Overseeing assessments and academic support programs in English
Oversee curriculum taught in English and Trinity English Exams
Liaison for external partners including Cambridge International, Trinity College, recruitment specialists
Oversees the certification process for Cambridge International including school visits, curriculum and materials, and teacher training
Requirements:
MA or Ph. D in Bilingual Teaching, Pedagogy, Education or related field.




Minimum of Bachelors Degree in education or relevant field or at least 4 years of professional experience in the area that you are applying for.
Familiarity with Project Based Learning, Reggio Emilia, and socioconstructivist model.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
English speaker or at least 5 years of experience as a foreign language (English) teacher in international schools.
Have C2 English level certification.
Demonstrated school leadership experience
