In this role you will be responsible for:
- Leading the staff including consultation on performance evaluations, promotions, hiring, and disciplinary responsibilities.
- Performing staff scheduling to ensure coverage 24x7
- Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department
- Accurately communicates pertinent information. Develops and implements quality improvement programs.
- Maintains competency and enhances professional growth and development through continuing education and conferences
- Drive prioritization of significant security events across the operations center and incident response team.
- Guide and/or manage technical response during critical incidents.
- Drive SLAs and KPIs
**Relevant work experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Technology or other equivalent field experience at a minimum




- 4+ years of demonstrated leadership or management experience.
- 5+ years Security Operations, Incident Response, or Engineering experience
- Demonstrated knowledge within the cybersecurity domain.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, or quantitative and analytical skills.
- A professional attitude regarding customer service, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
- Experience establishing policies to improve workflow processes and deficiencies
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Cert, or another similar security certification is a plus.
