**Summary**:
IT Manager function is the planning, implementation and integration of all information systems and technologies for Mexico that align with the unit, regional and global Griffith vision. This person will be proactive in providing solution-based alternatives using technology that can support the strategic direction while fostering a culture promoting empowerment, growth, and a collaborative spirit within the IT department both locally, regionally and at a Integral Level.
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Being part of the NA IT team for develop, gain approval, and implement an IT strategic plan to support company vision. Align systems strategy with business strategy.
- Provide a strategic eye to assist in recognizing, evaluating, and taking advantage of new technologies that provide business advantage and/or meet corporate needs.
- Work in collaboration with user personnel while providing/directing technical resources to ensure appropriate selection of hardware, software, communication, and network technologies.
- Manage and build relationships with vendors and strategic alliances to meet present and future needs.
- Promote a cooperative and supportive customer service attitude across the Information Technology department to ensure enhanced working relationships with all user departments/organizations.
- Direct and provide developmental opportunities for all staff while promoting an environment of teamwork, effective communication, empowerment, and collaboration.
- Maintain effective communication with all internal customers to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing goals.




- Facilitates and leads the scoping of new projects including technical requirements, resource needs, and launch timing targets
- Monitors and proactively manages program risks, issues, assumptions, timelines, costs, and dependencies
- Creates and maintains relationships with business and technology stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate delivery, identification of risks, and trade off discussions to manage resource constraints
- Communicates proactively to stakeholders and leadership
- Fosters a strong partnership with all IT teams. This collaboration with the other IT teams is critical for the success of this role.
- Facilitates change management initiatives and the required business transformation.
**Knowledge & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in
- Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance IT processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams, along with demonstrated track ecord of leadership, client management, and project management skills.
- Preferred - Prior Enterprise Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and data analytics implementation and adoption experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supporting the business functions ERP needs - preferably Microsoft D365
- Oversee the development and delivery of solutions that support the overall business functions.
- Must have strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
- < 10%+ travel is required.
