**Academic qualification**
- **Essential**: Degree in Mechanical Engineering
**Position**: Senior Service Engineer Mechanical
**Experience**
- Relevant: Minimum 5 to 10 years in Project Management and Execution.
- Utility background qualifications experience will be a valuable addition.
- Experience in execution of ETP and Environmental Engineering systems can be a value addition.
**Technical Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of piping layout, welding standards, stress reliefs, and air vents.
- Expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining centrifugal and rotary pumps.
- Familiarity with integrating auxiliary machinery like air compressors/blowers.
- Experience with membrane-based effluent treatment systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including piping and equipment layouts.
- Understanding of pneumatic air lines and valves, their installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
- Skilled in reading P&ID; diagrams to ensure system accuracy.
- Knowledge of equipment foundation, alignment, and verification for static and dynamic machinery, including installation and commissioning.
- Proficient in welding techniques and inspection standards.
- Strong understanding of mechanical seals, bearings, and other pump components.




- Competent in troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of stress analysis in piping systems.
- Experience aligning rotating machinery for synchronization and balance.
- Familiarity with lubrication systems and maintenance schedules.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
**Primary Responsabilities**:
- Participate in Toolbox Meetings to plan daily tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of machinery in waste water treatment systems.
- Manage installation and commissioning of piping, valves, and air compressors.
- Conduct maintenance and service to ensure equipment efficiency.
- Assist in IQ and OQ processes to meet project standards.
- Collaborate with the Safety Officer in preparing and approving RAMS.
- Supervise vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and safety.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all stages.
- Provide technical input in Diageo Project Meetings.
- Document installation and maintenance activities for compliance.
**Soft skills**
- Well versed with computers, especially with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and PPT expertise to prepare reports.
- Should have leadership qualities and man management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment effectively.
- Ability for attention to details.
- Efficient time management skills
