**Your Job**
Manage the categories listed below by driving cost reduction & localization. Ensure supply assurance by focusing on supplier relationship management in line with the strategy formulated and approved by the category managers. Categories include:
- Wire & Cable.
- Electronics parts.
- Connectors and terminals.
Effective utilization of digital transformation & optimization tools. Leverage Molex's internal resources and other cost benchmarking tools available in the market.
**Our Team**
You will work in a multidisciplinary and global team, with your sourcing efforts you will help all projects within the plant move forward in a timely manner and we can meet the requirements of our customers.
**What You Will Do**
- Follow PBM in all aspects of work and organizational behavior.
- Bring cost reduction and provide the best TCO solutions to the plant using market intelligence and cost benchmarking (CBP).
- Develop dual sourcing and local suppliers to improve supply flexibility and ensure supply assurance.
- Maintain a reliable supplier base aligned with category strategy to support the business (meeting quality & delivery requirements) and upcoming business needs via NPD.
- Drive cost reduction through negotiation, VAVE, and alternative source identification and development.
- Conduct half-yearly/annual business reviews with suppliers, meeting their leadership teams to improve relationships.
- Support EICC initiatives, such as supplier conflict mineral declaration and RA1.
- Work with SQE to support supplier and product qualification.
- Maintain an approved vendor list for MLX India direct vendors for categories assigned.
- Ensure proper documentation practices.
- Maintain QS, IS, TS,



EHS, and EMS procedures and practices.
- Keep SAP master records up-to-date (SPQ, MOQ, lead time, and price).
- Comply with all Molex policies and procedures.
- Track, monitor, and achieve set department/individual goals.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- B.E in Mech/Electronics or DME in Mech/Electronics.
- Experience between 4 to 7 years in sourcing. Experience from Harness Industry is preferred
- Strong supplier management skills.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Hard-core exposure to sourcing function.
- Familiarity with cost estimation, general supply base, and market intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of local and global supply bases.
- Good negotiation skills and business sense.
- Knowledge of import procedures, formalities, and local statutory levies.
- Knowledge of QS/IS/IATF quality systems.
- Manufacturing process knowledge, value engineering, and reverse engineering.
