Sr. Project/Program Launch Engineer - Automotive Interiors

We are looking for a **Sr. Project/Program Launch Engineer** to lead and coordinate critical automotive programs from concept to SOP. This role requires strong expertise in **APQP, NPI (New Product Introduction), and cross-functional project leadership** to ensure flawless launches that meet quality, cost, and timing targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Program & Project Leadership**
- Lead cross-functional teams during **new product development (NPD/NPI)** and launch phases
- Define deliverables, track milestones, and ensure accountability across functions
**APQP & Launch Execution**
- Drive on-time **APQP activities**, from acquisition to SOP
- Ensure **PPAP readiness** and compliance with customer/OEM requirements
**Customer & Stakeholder Interface**
- Act as the main contact for OEM customers during program phases
- Provide technical and launch support, escalating issues when needed
**Cost, Quality & Schedule Control**
- Manage program budgets (NRE, tooling, prototypes) and **design-to-cost targets**:




- Monitor KPIs to secure launch quality, timing, and cost performance
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- **3+ years** of project/program management experience in the automotive industry
- Solid knowledge of **APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949** requirements
- Experience with OEM launch protocols and ERP/PLM systems
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Microsoft Suite
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt a plus)
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
