**Job Description: Manufacturing Superintendent**:
**Location**: SKF Plant - Zapopan, Jalisco
**Department**: Operations / Manufacturing
**Reports to**: Plant Manager
***Position Objective**:
Lead and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency. The Manufacturing Superintendent is responsible for managing production teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with SKF’s operational standards and strategic goals.
**️**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities across assigned production lines.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements in productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Lead and develop production supervisors and frontline teams.
- Coordinate with planning, maintenance, quality, and engineering to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing levels, shift schedules, and resource allocation.
- Support audits and ensure readiness for internal and external inspections.
- Promote SKF values and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence.
- Experience in managing teams and driving results in a high-volume production environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and production reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
