**Your role**:
**In this role, you will lead bill of materials validation to improve the fidelity of weight status roll-ups in automotive product development. You will be responsible for generating weight BOMs regularly and conducting thorough analysis to identify issues impacting weight accounting integrity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy.**
**In this role you will play a key role in**:
- **Downloading BOMs from corporate systems followed by detailed analysis and weight tracking to maintain data integrity**:
- **Setting up and facilitating meetings with design teams to review their parts and weights, confirming content and status**:
- **Working with Weight Team Leads to provide regular weight status updates to the extended team and supporting the development of weight reduction opportunities**:
- **Coordinating component weighing activities at suppliers and assembly plants to ensure accurate measurements**:
- **Assisting with the validation of prototype vehicle weights by comparing them to virtual BOM roll-ups to identify discrepancies**
**Your profile**:
- **Good conversational**English**skills (B1, C1, C2)**:




- **Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university**:
- **0-2 years**of relevant**automotive**product development**experience (Junior level)**:
- **Strong knowledge of the overall program development**life cycle in automotive manufacturing**:
- **Proficiency in Microsoft computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with demonstrated experience in**data analysis**:
- **Experience**analyzing complex data sets**and formulating meaningful conclusions and recommendations**:
- **Ability to**work effectively in a team**environment, build good working relationships and gain consensus across multiple stakeholders**:
- **Strong**communication**skills, both verbal and written**:
- **Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision,**multi-task and prioritize workload**effectively**:
- **Experience with**mass properties**or development of**weight estimates**in the automotive or aerospace field is highly desirable**
