Cloud Test Engineer - Guadalajara or Tijuana, MX (hybrid)
**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Evaluate current system and product architecture within AWS cloud services and work to create automated test scripts (Java-based) within testing tools such as Postman and Karate frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for multiple projects in the areas of quality and testing understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and IT teams while participating in product design reviews
- Work with deployments team, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Work closely with the software development team to identify and correct defects while developing and maintaining test databases for automated validation of software revisions.
**Requirements/Experience**:
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications in English and Spanish (written, verbal)
- 2-3+ years of experience in automated API testing and integration testing (Postman, or equivalent automated API testing tool experience is required)
- 2-3+ years’ experience working with cloud services (AWS)

- Strong development skills required in Java, C#, and/or Python for automated test scripts
- Experience with SQL/No SQL databases is required
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, REST, SOAP
- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing methods (e.g., Git, Perforce).
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution.
**Preferred**:
- Previous experience working with Karate framework is a plus
- Hands-on experience using CloudWatch, MessageUse and/or Kafka is highly desired but not required
- Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA regulations and international standards applicable to medical device software development, verification, and validation a plus
- Previous experience with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo is a plus
- Prior successes working within Agile methodology is highly desire
Pay: $50,000.00 - $59,000.00 per month
