**What You'll Do**:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.




- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Control access through gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, following visitor and vehicle protocols, and documenting authorized deliveries and pickups.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and local emergency services when needed.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and report maintenance hazards and/or operational concerns observed during rounds.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
