Provides technical support to Operations in the form of enabling and improving the flow of manufacturing utilizing the disciplines of industrial and mechanical engineering.
Assignments range from straightforward, reactionary in nature to complex, and strategic.
Uses independent judgment to make decisions in day-today job responsibilities the majority of the time under general supervision.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical problem definition and solution in manufacturing environment.
- Interfaces with design engineering on incorporating changes to the designs that improve manufacturability.
- Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Assignments usually consist of providing engineering economics support (cost estimates, facilitating achievement of cost requirements/targets) on standalone product development efforts.
- Plan, execute (facilitate) and document engineering economics challenges.

Experiência y requisitos
Education: Professional degree in Industrial engineering
Experience: Experience in a similar position, supervisor, process engineer.
Certifications: Green belt
Languages: Advance English level
- Microsoft Office tools knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- AutoCAD and CAD Program)
- SAP knowledge
- Process improvement and lean six sigma tools knowledge
- GD&T; and drawings interpretation.
