**Job Summary**:
The Manufacturing Engineer serves as a pivotal leader in machining operations, guiding teams dedicated to optimizing CNC and conventional machining processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment utilization, and production flow.
This role is instrumental in ensuring that machined parts and components are produced efficiently, economically, and in strict accordance with engineering specifications, dimensional requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Directly oversees and develops high-performing manufacturing engineering teams, providing continuous training and mentorship to support and enhance plant operations.
- Leads machining process development, including CNC programming support, tooling selection, fixture design, cutting parameter optimization, cost estimation, systems planning, layout, and the release of operational standards.
- Drives the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of machining methods, equipment, workholding, tooling life, cycle time, scrap reduction, and overall process capability.
- Manages the installation, qualification, and modification of machine equipment and related systems, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality machine components.
- This is a staff position that requires an expert in Project Management tools & processes.
Ability to facilitate NPI/CPS
- projects, lead chartering sessions, develop/validate network diagrams, and lead integration & compression sessions.
- Provides machining engineering expertise to define requirements for cost-effective manufacturing processes, including equipment layout, machine moves, tool management, fixture strategy, and new equipment installations.
- Coordinates all capital projects related to assigned factories including forecasting, planning and monitoring special
- projects to completion.
Provides related reports to upper management.
- Impacts project performance, machining productivity, cycle time, cost, quality, capacity, customer satisfaction, equipment utilization, product performance, and overall cost management.
**Educational Requirements**:
- Bachelor ́s degree in Engineering.
- Advanced English

- Consults on work cell and layout designs, ensuring alignment with lean objectives, and leads initiatives to measure and monitor lean performance.
**Machining** Processes**:
- Applies extensive knowledge of machining technologies, including CNC milling, turning, grinding, drilling, boring, workholding, tooling, feeds and speeds, and process capability.
- Develops and maintains best practice documentation for machining operations, setup sheets, tooling standards, fixture usage, process parameters, and operator training.
- Leads the measurement and assessment of machining processes, ensuring continuous improvement in dimensional accuracy, repeatability, productivity, and competitiveness.
**Machining** Equipment**:
- Supports the creation and rollout of machining policies, procedures, preventive practices, equipment standards, and process controls to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Explains the rationale behind machining standards, engages with production, maintenance, quality, and operations stakeholders, and provides feedback for ongoing improvement.
- Monitors adherence to machine standards, machine capability, tooling performance, and equipment utilization, escalating potential exceptions for review as needed.
