This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to lead the technical accounting function within a fast-growing fintech environment. You will play a central role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and accounting integration. The position offers broad visibility across the organization and regular interaction with executive leadership, auditors, regulators, and cross-functional teams. You will lead month-end and year-end close activities while ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant. A key focus will be integrating a newly acquired regulated financial institution and standardizing accounting practices across the Group. Accountabilities
Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes,



ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial information.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF and support IFRS and CNBV regulatory reporting requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules, documentation, and supporting evidence.
Lead the accounting integration of a newly acquired SOFIPO, ensuring appropriate processes, controls, and reporting structures are established.
Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and charts of accounts across the organization.
Strengthen internal controls, identify accounting risks, and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A;, Operations, Product, and other teams on strategic and finance-related initiatives.
