This role offers the opportunity to lead the accounting function in Mexico, with international exposure and direct impact on financial decision-making in a fast-growing organization.
- You will ensure operational excellence and financial integrity:
- Lead full-cycle accounting operations (**GL, AP/AR, revenue, tax, assets**)
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Ensure compliance with **GAAP and IFRS**:
- Strengthen **internal controls, policies, and procedures**:
- Analyze and present **financial statements and key reports**:
- Drive **process improvement and automation initiatives**:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Support **budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis**:
- Collaborate with global teams (U.S. and international)
- Optimize systems and tools (**SAP, Avalara**)
Experiência y requisitos
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
- 1-3 years of team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of **GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting**:
- Experience with **ERP systems (SAP preferred)**:
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical, organizational, and results-driven mindset
- Professional English proficiency
- **CPA (preferred)**
