We are seeking **Senior SMT Engineers** specialized in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) to join high-tech production facilities across the United States.
This is more than an operational role; we are looking for technical leaders capable of optimizing line efficiency (CPH), minimizing downtime, and spearheading **New Product Introductions (NPI)** under the rigorous standards of the automotive and medical industries.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Technical Optimization**: Advanced configuration, programming, and maintenance of **ASM platforms (SIPLACE SX/TX)** and **CP20/CPP** heads.
- **Printing & Inspection Quality**: Programming and fine-tuning of **DEK NeoHorizon** printers and **Koh Young SPI** equipment.
- **Process Engineering**: Analysis and validation of thermal profiles for reflow ovens (**Heller, Rehm, BTU**) and optimization of **CPK/OEE** metrics.
- **Failure Analysis**: Root cause diagnosis for critical defects (solder bridging, voids, tombstoning) in compliance with **IPC-A-610** standards.
- **NPI Management**: Leading the introduction of new products, from Gerber analysis to first-article release.
- **Leadership**: Providing technical training to operators and coordinating major preventive maintenance schedules.
**Mandatory Requirements**
- **Education & Documentation**:



Must hold a **Bachelor's Degree and Professional License (Cédula Profesional)** in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Legal requirement for visa processing).
- **Experience**: 3 to 5+ years in high-volume EMS environments (e.g., Flex, Jabil, Sanmina, Continental).
- **Technical Mastery**: Proven experience with **SIPLACE Pro, Setup Center, or OIB** software.
- **Language**: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced **English (B2/C1)**; must be able to conduct technical conversations and report results.
- **Mobility**: Full availability to relocate and reside in the United States.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- **IPC-A-610** Certification.
- Knowledge of **Lean Six Sigma** methodologies (Green/Black Belt).
- Experience with peripheral equipment: Fuji NXT, Panasonic NPM, or MPM printers.
