**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct thorough reviews of customs declarations (pedimentos: AF, IN, RT, V1, F4, F5, etc.).
- Analyze, interpret, and ensure adherence to MX and US non-duty regulations and restrictions.
- Maintain full knowledge of customs compliance requirements under IMMEX, PROSEC programs, and VAT certifications.
- Provide accurate classification based on the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Codes).
- Determine the country of origin for finished goods in accordance with trade agreements (e.g., TLCs).
- Manage governmental processes including VUCEM, SAT, and the Ministry of Economy.
- Prepare, review, and upload raw materials and finished goods' PNs to customs systems.
- Oversee Annex 24 and 30 data control, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Execute nationalization of raw materials and equipment (F4/F5 operations).
- Monitor and address SAT audits, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.
- Perform duty recovery processes, such as drawback claims and CBP reimbursement checks.
**Education & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
- **International Business**:
- **Foreign Trade/Comercio Exterior**:
- **Customs Administration/Administración Aduanera**:
- **Logistics/Logística**
**Work Experience**:
- **3+ years** of experience with **Mexican or US customs brokerage**.
- **2+ years** of experience in IMMEX-certified companies or forwarding/logistics firms.
**Professional Skills and Abilities**:
- **Proficient in English (75% or higher, WRITTEN AND SPOKEN)**:
- Strong knowledge of import/export operations and customs regulations.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or supporting SAT audits and drawing effective resolutions.
**Certifications**:
- Must have completed **at least three recent foreign trade-related training courses**.
