Amentum is seeking a Golf Course Manager to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Golf Course Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and overall appearance of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This position plans, organizes, directs, and supervises golf course maintenance activities to ensure safe and playable course conditions while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize,



and supervise the daily operations of gold course maintenance and groundskeeping.
- Receive, review, and assign maintenance requests and work orders.
- Schedule and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee mowing, trimming, edging, fertilization, irrigation, landscaping, and general turf maintenance.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair golf course infrastructure, including cart paths, parking areas, sidewalks, bridges, bunkers, and course amenities.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation and drainage systems to promote healthy turf conditions and prevent flooding or water damage.
- Perform and oversee tree trimming, brush removal, weed control, and vegetation management to maintain course safety and appearance.
- Coordinate erosion control and landscape improvement projects.
- Ensure all maintenance equipment is inspected, serviced, repaired, and safely operated.
