**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee teams, including recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management to ensure a highly competent workforce.
Provide strategic leadership and alignment in developing programmes that improve transportation and logistics processes in line with the overall business plan.
Facilitate effective communication with executives, clients, and suppliers, ensuring program objectives and necessary resources are clear and accessible.
Manage expectations for executives and leaders by establishing performance metrics and facilitating communication regarding business requirements.
Examine and implement best practices to enhance operational and contractual performance through defined approaches, feedback, and stringent measurement.
Address and resolve critical business risks within the line of business, ensuring a smooth resolution of day-to-day operational conflicts.
Ensure efficient and effective allocation of staff and resources to deliver operational commitments and quality standards.
Lead the development and enforcement of policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, seeking legal guidance when necessary.
Supervise and manage budgets, resource allocation, and approval of expenditures.
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management, contributing to team and organisational goals.
**Qualifications**:
You will need to have a relevant educational background, with a minimum qualification of a Technical Degree, Bachelor's in Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of one year of experience in a middle management role focused on quality management systems, safety management systems, and corresponding quality and safety standards is essential.
Your ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role.
