Kiewit Mexico offers construction management and engineering services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining.As an Environmental Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all environmental regulations and standards, and that we maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. Kiewit Mexico provides construction and engineering services in transportation, oil, gas, chemical, power, building, water/wastewater, industrial, and mining industries.Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate environmental compliance programs for all construction projectsIdentify and evaluate environmental risks and impacts associated with construction activitiesOversee the implementation of environmental policies and procedures, including training and awareness programsAttend meetings with contractors,
regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to discuss environmental issues and concernsConduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standardsProvide guidance and support to project teams to ensure that environmental issues are addressed in project planning and executionDevelop and maintain environmental reports and recordsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field3 to 7 years of experience working in environmental compliance in the construction industryKnowledge of environmental regulations and standards, including air and water quality, waste management, and hazardous materialsExperience with environmental management systems (EMS) and permitsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholdersAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsAvailability to travel to project sites and work adaptable hours, if required.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Vacation days, Christmas bonus, and vacation bonus above the law standardSavings fundFood vouchersSocial securityHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Life InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation & Public Holidays)Training & developmentWellness Resources (Medical appointments at a preferential price and discounts in drugstores and stores)
