**Position Summary**
The Staff Accountant, located in Guadalajara, performs accounting functions related to Payroll, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger for the Americas region.

**Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities**
- Prepares, reviews, and processes regional payroll, including salaries, taxes, reimbursements, and payroll adjustments.
- Reviews and implements governmental and legal policies regarding payroll.
- Receives and processes invoices and expense vouchers in an accurate and timely manner.
- Budget management.
- Responsible for accounts payable.
- Management of RP Dynamics.
- Enters transactions into accounts payable system, according to the project and general ledger parameters.
- Processes weekly payment run for numerous bank accounts and multiple currencies, utilizing accounts payable system and banking website.
- Reviews and records bank transfers received in multiple local bank accounts.
- Enters payment details for regional invoices into AP automation system after bank processing.
- Reconciles general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepares and reviews Petty Cash reports and receipts.
- Supports Home Office in preparation of compliance review audits and annual financial audits.
- Prepares accounting documentation for a regional tax accountant.
- Reviews and monitors physical inventory of fixed assets.
- Supports and assists management on tasks/projects as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience**
- A degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 3-5 years of related job experience preferred.
- Project Accounting is a plus.
- Foreign currency experience is a plus.
**Physical Requirements**
- Light, sedentary office work including the use of standard office equipment and a calculator.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
**Salary and Benefits**
- $40,000 pesos (gross salary)
