Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Supply Planning will own end-to-end planning process of the casting commodity for the Industrial Components division within Regal Rexnord. This includes managing a centralized supplier control tower across multiple internal production plants to escalate, prioritize, and track the most critical casting orders with foundries. The position is also responsible for division ownership of the casting sourcing strategy.
- Manages a centralized supplier control tower to monitor supply metrics and coordinate demand across multiple internal production plants
- Manage global supplier relationships for assigned commodities including conducting onsite supplier visits
- Provides demand forecasts to the foundries based on long term planning signals
- Maintains the division sourcing matrix for the casting commodity including which suppliers to exit, develop, maintain, and prospect
- Participates in presentations to source council stakeholders for approval to change suppliers in alignment with sourcing strategies




- Supports efforts to complete supplier capacity assessments as needed as input into sourcing decisions
- Helps to set effectivity dates of casting sourcing changes based on in process inventory including ramp up and ramp down plans
- Supports the plant execution through specific and tactical supplier interactions including past due recovery plans as needed
- Serves as an escalation contact for reoccurring invoicing grief as needed
- Maintains records of tooling/patterns with casting suppliers as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations, or Business/Engineering related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment with experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, and/or master scheduling
- Experience working with multiple locations globally
- Experience sourcing in low cost regions
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations; be a self-directed leader
- Strong business acumen and project management skills
- Strong communicator, both within a cross functional team and to leadership
- Ability to travel to suppliers - up to 40% travel required at times depending on business needs
Desired Qualifications:
- Oracle and/or SAP experience
- Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification
- ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification and/or ISM CPM certification
