**Molding Supervisor**
**Functions & Responsibilities**
- Develop appropriate planning strategy for each product group and customer segment. This includes determining consignment and safety stock levels of products for select customers
- Create schedules for plastic injection molding and assembly operations
- Generate daily molding work center schedule in support of shipping commitments and work center / machine capacity
- Provide timely feedback to the sales, customer service and shipping managers on status of all work orders that may affect commitments to the customers
- Schedules and support initial build and ramp-up of new product releases
- Support manufacturing management and inventory control on inventory related issues
- Backup master scheduler when needed
**Requirements**:




- High school diploma or some college units and/or APICS courses preferred
- At least 2 years of manufacturing or planning/scheduling experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment
- Must have excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
- Must possess good written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills
- Must be computer literate and able to use EXCEL and MS WORD
- Injection molding industry and SAP ERP systems experience a plus.
