**Your role at Baxter**
We are looking for a Senior Manager, who will be the E&C; business partner for internal customers in the LATAM North region. In this role, you are the SME for E&C.; Mitigate risk and provide awareness through campaigns. You will have a global mentality where you establish relationships and support general leaders.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide Ethics & Compliance counseling to internal business partners on a wide range of healthcare compliance, anti-corruption, regulatory and legal matters;
- Support the implementation of the Ethics & Compliance Governance for LATAM North, based in Mexico City.
- Provide clear mentorship regarding E&C; policies and procedures and detect conduct inconsistent with the Company’s policies and the law;
- Drive awareness regarding the importance of E&C;, identify areas of risk, and undertake corrective plans to resolve the issues;
- Develop, deliver, and coordinate training related to Ethics & Compliance policies and the law;
- Assist in the implementation and oversight of Baxter’s Third-Party Program in Latin America North;
- Be part of Compliance Clinics;
- Perform special assignments or projects, as needed;
- Participate in internal investigations regarding potential violations of Company’s policies or the law.
**What you’ll bring**- **JD or international equivalent from a nationally or internationally recognized institution.**- **Experience leading Ethics & Compliance or Legal**




- Experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries strongly preferred.
- Proven experience 8-10 years between private practice and/or an in-house role, with at least 5 years in-house experience working in E&C.;
- Knowledge of and experience with anti-corruption/anti-bribery, antitrust, and pharmaceutical or medical device promotion experience strongly preferred
- Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct;
- Familiarity with the global framework affecting the health care industry, such as international laws governing healthcare, interactions with healthcare professionals, institutions and government officials, antitrust and competition issues
- Excellent verbal communication and social skills to encourage and influence employees at every level to embrace Baxter’s Ethics and Compliance initiatives;
- Proactive in ‘reaching-out’ to people in providing advice as well as adopts an ‘open-communication’ style towards others
- Strong legal skills and mature judgment;
- Proven efficiency operating in complex organizational environments and self-starter qualities that will translate well in a large matrixed organization
- Leadership abilities, with the desire, competence and sensitivity to involve multi-functional business leaders in Ethics & Compliance matters
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required
