**Sr Materials Planner**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Materials Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for purchasing discrete, value-added, and manufactured components for our operations.
Additionally, this role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure the achievement of company metrics and operational efficiency.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Run MRP and support supply-side replenishment activities to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Create, manage, and track purchase orders within the ERP system.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials from vendors, with a particular focus on Asian suppliers.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee shipments from vendors to MTI facilities, including urgent and expedited orders.
- Coordinate shipments to and from Outside Process vendors when necessary.




- Act as the primary liaison between Account Managers and management for new launch programs and end-of-production activities.
**Job Qualification Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of foreign trade regulations, logistics, and customs compliance.
- Proven experience in managing and following up with Asian suppliers.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
