**Main Responsabilities**:
- Provides interpretation, analysis, and support of programs or related projects which support the health and safety management system.
- Participates in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of processes to reduce workplace hazards.
- Solves problems which are complex in scope. As appropriate, interacts with external agencies as the agent of the unit in both a strategic and tactical role.
- Serve as the primary person responsible for managing safety and health programs and compliance at a unit.
