**In this role, you will**:
- Analyze expense data to identify trends, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Provide level 2 support for the Global Travel and Expense program, develop and deliver training sessions on T&E; policies.
- Maintain and update T&E; procedures.
- Provide guidance and training on T&E; policies and systems.
- Support the consolidation and reimplementation of expense systems.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and other departments for system integration.
- Lead initiatives to enhance T&E; operational efficiency.
- Maintain AI-driven audit solutions.
- Monitor and report on T&E; KPIs.
- Support change management for T&E; system updates and policy changes.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- Bachelor Degree or years of relevant equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in travel and expense management, finance or related roles or 2+ years of experience as a Senior Expense Analyst
- Experience with expense management systems such as Concur and Expensify.




- Demonstrated experience in analyzing expense data and implementing process improvements.
- Prior accounts payable or expense management experience.
- A technical understanding of how to configure and manage Expense Systems (or shows a willingness to learn how to administer these systems).
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements related to T&E; management is a plus.
