Koch Finishing Systems - Mexico is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and MXGAAP. This role involves financial analysis, reporting, and collaboration with international teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Maintain financial records in compliance with US GAAP and MXGAAP.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger support schedules.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with international accounting teams and other departments.
- Manage ERP system updates and general ledger structure.
- Prepare audit deliverables and respond to inquiries.
- Process invoices in SAT and ERP systems; enter purchase orders.
- Review timekeeping records for field engineers and technicians.
- Handle government payments (IMSS, Infonavit, SAT, payroll taxes).




- Assist in budgeting and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Review and process travel expense reports.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in an international organization with knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency with large ERP systems.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Advanced Excel skills and expertise in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently.
