As a Sr SMT Engineer, your role is critical to keep production lines running efficiently through good manufacturing practices while defining the best work methods to ensure quality and performance on every assembled board.
Activities related to the position:
- Leads and participates in root cause analysis and corrective actions to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing SMT processes, productivity and performance.
- Monitors yield, efficiency, productivity and scrap; estimates manufacturing costs, conducts safety assessments, performs control and capacity analysis, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- Programs and optimize SMT machines to increase production capacity.
- Execute programed SWO’s by R&D; and provide run reports.
- Support NPI and detection of new equipment technology required for new product technology.
- Leads and develops direct reports, provides high customer service to internal and external clients while establishing effective communication with all SMT process stockholders.
