The Manufacturing Engineer (Nesting) is responsible for optimizing material usage in manufacturing processes through nesting software, ensuring efficient part distribution on material sheets, minimizing waste, and maximizing the profitability of the production process.

Nesting Optimization**: Use nesting software (such as SigmaNEST, AutoNEST, etc.) to optimize part placement on materials to reduce waste and improve material utilization.
- ** Process Development and Improvement**: Analyze and propose improvements to cutting, welding, and manufacturing processes to ensure greater efficiency and cost reduction.
- ** Quality Control**: Ensure that parts and manufacturing processes meet quality standards by working closely with the quality control department and ensuring accurate interpretation of drawings and specifications.
- ** Production Planning**: Coordinate with the production department to ensure materials are properly allocated and available for manufacturing processes.
- ** Waste Analysis**: Identify and analyze sources of material waste and propose corrective actions.
- ** Documentation and Reporting**: Generate technical reports, production logs, and performance reports related to nesting and material processes.
- ** Cross-departmental Collaboration**: Work closely with design,



production, logistics, and purchasing departments to ensure that manufacturing plans are feasible and optimized in terms of costs and timelines.
Experiência y requisitos
**Education**: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
**Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in nesting and cutting optimization.
- Proficiency in nesting software (SigmaNEST, AutoNEST, etc.).
- Knowledge of cutting, welding, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of materials and their behavior in manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and results-oriented.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage technical documentation.
