- Promptly address any safety issues or incidents.
- Spend a minimum of 75% of time on production floor leading associates.
- Responsible for staffing and training plans within the department.
- Provide regular, timely, and specific feedback to associates.
- Provide a learning environment and challenge associates to meet higher expectations.
- Implement BD Excellence components and programs within the manufacturing unit Ensure an open flow of communication exists between production associates and management.
- Represent concerns of production associates to management, as well as management concerns to production associates.
- Works with associates to resolve employee relations issues and concerns; involves HR when needed.
- Actively participate and support continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with Production Planning to establish production schedules, monitor performance versus schedule for the department.
- Track production metrics to ensure that department goals are being met.
- Communicates these metrics and progress to associates and management.
- Lead daily production operations.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Experiência y requisitos
- _ Bachelor Degree_ Engineering or administrative career
- 2 to 3 years of Experience in similar rol.
- Basic English communication skills
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in continuous operational improvement and the ability to act as a change agent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze, significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines.
