Manage and coordinate the implementation of process technologies ensuring correct documentation, training of impacted personnel and compliance with internal and external quality standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Safety._
- Understand and follow procedures per Donaldson Integral EHS Framework
- Understand, follow and promote plant safety rules
- Ensure compliance with international safety standards in all work standards and process technology implemented at Donaldson
- Quality._
- Lead the complex problem-solving processes related to Welding Technology
- Design and implement process control systems that ensure effective monitoring, problem detection, problem solving and continuous improvement in the
- Welding operation
- Ensure in collaboration with Production Supervisors proper training and skills certification of all personnel that operates at Welding operations
- Deliveries._
- Design, implement and improve processes to maximize productivity without negatively affecting human safety and product quality in Welding operations
- Elimination of the 9 wastes in the Welding operation




- Establish the manufacturing conditions and process technology that optimize production cycles with world-class standards in the Welding operation
- Cost._
- Lead cost reduction projects in the Welding operation through the design and execution of experimentation plans focused on optimizing process response variables
- Constantly look for alternatives in the supply chain that optimize the total cost of operation
Other responsibilities may be assigned as required
Minimum qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering
- AWS / CWI Level 2 Certification
- Experience: 5-10 years in managing Welding operations, preferably with experience in developing procedures and welders qualification
- English - Advanced
Desirable Technical Skills:
- International Certifications Applicable to Welding
- Experience in Problem Solving with statistical methods
- Proven experience as a technical leader in Welding processes
Preferred qualifications
- Instructor and Technical Trainer Skills for Team Leaders and Operators
- Structured and oriented to create and/or improve work systems such as Standards Procedures, Methods and/or work instructions
