The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily production activities to ensure that output meets delivery schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Plan and organize the workload for production staff to meet scheduled shipment deadlines.
- Ensure raw materials are available and prepared to maintain a consistent and efficient production flow.
- Guarantee proper identification of raw materials before, during, and after processing to prevent errors and ensure traceability.
- Ensure correct materials are used in the production process as per specifications.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by identifying hazards and enforcing the company’s injury and illness prevention program.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality and safety standards; support data collection, metrics reporting, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations.
- Review manufacturing processes and recommend efficiency improvements to management.
- Maintain a system for reviewing and testing incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with purchase orders and quality specifications; promptly submit receiving documentation to Accounting.
- Review employee performance regularly, with formal evaluations at least annually.
- Organize workflow to maximize team effectiveness,
ensuring adherence to company-defined procedures.
- Oversee production stages to ensure final goods meet quality and specification standards.
- Ensure all production equipment and machinery are properly maintained; coordinate repairs as needed to support safe and continuous operations.
- Provide employee development and training; ensure proper documentation of all training activities.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing management.
- A background in process engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the automotive and electronic manufacturing industries.
- Valid U.S. visa; willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to organize, plan, and direct the work of subordinate employees.
- Strong commitment to and respect for safe work practices.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
