We are currently recruiting a Senior Controller to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Development & Construction Phase
- Monitor and control capex deployment for projects in development and construction, tracking actual spend against approved budgets by WBS / cost element (PEPs).
- Identify and report budget deviations during development and construction, proposing corrective actions to project and finance leadership.
- Support financial closing processes for projects reaching Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Ready to Build (RTB) milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) teams to align payment milestones and S-curve progress with financial data.
- Support project financing processes, including financial model review, drawdown requests, and lender / covenant reporting during construction.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requirement analyses for projects under development and construction.
Operational Phase
- Lead financial controlling for assets once they reach commercial operation (COD), including monthly and quarterly P&L; closing and variance analysis vs. budget.
- Monitor cash position, CFADS / CAFD and distributions for operating assets, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and shareholder agreements.
- Prepare management reporting packages (P&L;, KPIs, budget vs. actual) for operating assets, for local leadership and corporate / regional finance.
- Coordinate with Asset Management and O&M; teams to ensure financial data reflects operational performance (availability, generation, revenue).
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting exercises for operating assets in the Mexico portfolio.
