oxford global resources is looking for a senior project manager / manufacturing engineer to support our client in a high‐impact consulting assignment based in mexico.

we are seeking a hands-on, senior professional with strong experience in industrial project management across automotive, aerospace, energy or similar advanced manufacturing sectors.

position details

location: home-based (mexico) travel: ~30% to querétaro (baja california) contract type: consultant / freelancer (using our umbrella company) duration: 6 months (possible 12‐month extension) workload: full-time start: immediate availability required

role overview

the consultant will lead cross-functional engineering projects in a global environment, focusing on:

new product introduction (npi) sustaining / continuous improvement projects

this role requires strong collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and on quality.

key responsibilities

define and manage project scope,



timeline, and budget develop and maintain project plans (ms project or similar) lead npi launches and sustaining/improvement initiatives coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain ensure compliance with lean / stage-gate processes lead project reviews and milestone gates identify and mitigate risks and issues drive continuous improvement and performance tracking

candidate profile

must-have experience:

10+ years as a project manager in industrial sectors strong background in manufacturing & engineering environments proven experience in npi and continuous improvement ability to manage multiple general projects simultaneously

languages:

english – fluent spanish – fluent
