**Your mission**:
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE General Services Energy, Qatar for a:
General Foreman (Hazardous Waste)
HWTC comprises of Liquid Hazardous Waste Treatment Facility (LHWTF), Stabilization & Solidification Facility (SSF), Oily Waste Treatment Facility (OWTF), Class-I landfill facility, Class-II landfill facility, Land farming facility, Interim Storage facilities, Process Water Storage Ponds, Evaporation Ponds and other ancillaries. MIC is in advance stage of commissioning of various facilities at HWTC: a mixing facility and an Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Unit (ATDU).
**Your profile**:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science / Environmental Chemistry or BSc in Organic / Inorganic Chemistry.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical Industry.



Out of that minimum 5 years of experience in Waste Identification / Waste Characterization / Waste Classification / Operation & Maintenance of Hazardous Waste Treatment Centre.
- Incumbent shall be able to read and interpret the Material Safety Data Sheet and associate hazards / risk of the hazardous waste.
- Fluent in Spoken and Written English.
- Good data interpretation and compilation skills.
- Ability to perform field inspection / sampling.
- Troubleshoot the operational faults and problem solving.
- Ability to work in team and to be flexible in work assignment.
- Good supervisory skill, inter-personnel skill, and investigation skills
- Incumbent shall be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs; and process flow diagrams.
**Desired level of study**: D-Short Cycle Tertiary Education (HND)
**Minimum experience**: 6 years or more
**Working language(s)**: English (B-Limited working proficiency)
