BrandNation is a fast-growing marketing and media agency with offices in the U.S. and Mexico. We produce high-quality content for both local and national brands—ranging from TV commercials to engaging social media reels. Our Mexico City office is expanding, and we’re looking for a talented **Video Editor** to join our creative production team.
**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and creative **Video Editor** who understands **storytelling** and can bring raw footage to life. You’ll work closely with our Production Director (based in the U.S.), who will delegate assignments to our Mexico City office. Your main focus will be **editing social media reels and TV commercials**, but you’ll also contribute to other video projects as needed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content for social media, TV, and digital campaigns.
- Add **motion graphics, transitions, and effects** to elevate video quality.
- Collaborate with the Production Director and follow instructions to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain high-quality standards while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, TV, etc.).
**Qualifications**:




- **Fluent in English (written & spoken)** - must be able to understand direction from U.S.based team.
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency with **Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software**.
- Experience creating **TV commercials, branded videos, and social media content**.
- Strong sense of pacing, music selection, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Graphic design or animation experience a plus.
- Knowledge of color correction and sound design.
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
