Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management.
Trading from North America:
Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 8:30am CT and closes mid-afternoon. Trading from elsewhere in North America gives you near-perfect overlap with US markets — same or adjacent time zones, same trading day, no schedule gymnastics.
Build consistency and scale capital based on performance
Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.
Profit split of 65% to 90% based on performance tier
Performance-based capital scaling, with no upper cap
Professional training and mentorship from active traders
Fully remote work — trade from anywhere with reliable internet
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is a profit-split on trading performance, with no base salary. Top-tier traders earn 90% of their net trading profits.
Trading experience preferred (equities and/or options), not required
Willingness to complete the Maverick Qualification Program before trading firm capital
