**Responsibilities**:
**Purpose**
**Key objectives**
Implement solutions grounded in a deep understanding of the production process.
Shorten development cycles and reduce friction.
Address plant‑specific needs first, then standardize across plants.
Ensure measurable positive impact on cost, safety, morale, and quality.
**What this role is — and is not**
This is not a ticket‑driven development seat awaiting fully specified feature requests.




The developer is accountable for going to the floor, understanding the problem end‑to‑end, proposing the approach, building the solution, and implementing it with users.
**Core responsibilities**
Discovery and analysis
Elicit, interpret, and prioritize needs with production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
Translate operational problems into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable technical specs.
Development and delivery
visualization.
Integrate with MES/ERP, and local systems.
Ship in short iterations with on‑floor testing and version control.
Operations and support
Provide first‑line support for local solutions and interfaces.
Maintain functional and technical documentation. Enable knowledge transfer to key users.
Standardization
Catalog validated solutions and package them for replication in other plants with mínimal adaptation.
**Collaboration with the central development team**
Act as the interpreter between plant users and ERP/MES owners:
Convert needs into clear technical requirements and manage them through delivery.
Validate that outputs comply with business rules and preserve or improve productivity.
Substantiate expected and observed impact on cost, safety, morale, and quality.
Qualifications:
**Profile and key skills**




Genuine enjoyment of working with people and learning directly on the shop floor.
Curiosity and judgment to understand manufacturing processes and constraints in depth.
Clear communication to present findings, risks, and proposals to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Ability to train and coach personnel at all levels.
Consistent presence in operational areas to observe real flows, validate solutions in use, and adjust quickly.
Practical mindset, results orientation, and attention to data quality, safety, and security.
**Requirements**:
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer/Systems Engineering or related field.
Experience: 5+ years delivering solutions in industrial or plant environments.
Technology: C#/.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS/Bootstrap; Windows Forms/WPF; scripting and
automation; version control (Git/TFS).
Knowledge: data modeling and light ETL, integration with MES/ERP, testing, documentation, and sound practices for security and backup.
