provides accurate cash flow and financing forecast for matamoros operations.
drives accounting initiatives related to the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations.
ensures that all financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
review that the actions to be performed in the accounting department are directed to obtain the financial information of the company and to comply with the tax provisions, managing the resources and detecting in time deviations.
responsible that the accounts payable department complies each week with the process of receiving and reviewing invoices
supports the accounts payable department in order to minimize the degree of risk for non-compliance with the tax requirements of invoices, credit notes, electronic payment receipts, cancellation and replacement of tax proofs.
ensures that the accounting department closing its weekly accounting process and record all transactions carried out during the week
ensures that the accounting department carries out its accounting closure of the month,



in order to send the financial statements in a timely manner within the first 2 days following closing.
review that the accounting department keeps the accounting system, electronic and paper archives organized and that provides each week to the accounts payable report the xml inconsistencies report.
review monthly maquila revenue, taxes, financial statements, work papers for isr and vat provisional payment declaration, third party operations information statement, monthly vat return, accounting submission electronics to the sat, inegi report and secretariat of the economy.
review payroll, weekly, monthly and annual tax calculations, as well as workers' annual isr adjustment.

qualifications
bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; cpa, cma and/or mba to plus
minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry as a accounting manager
experience with erp systems (mapics, dynamics, sap, oracle or similar)
strong understanding of cost accounting, general ledger and maquiladora accounting
proven ability to understand complex processes and project management requirements.
experience working in a multinational organization and a shared service environment
excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
proven experience managing and supervising an accounting staff
administration, internal control, accounting, accounts payable, taxes, audit.
stay up to date on lisr, rlis, cff, rcff. Rmf, liva, riva
excellent leadership skills
fluency in english and spanish
