We are looking for a center console design engineer with experience in automotive interior systems and plastic component design. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and release of center console components, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, manufacturing feasibility, quality standards, and program timing. Responsibilities - design and develop automotive center console components and assemblies. - create and modify 3 d cad models and 2 d drawings. - support product development activities from concept through production launch. - conduct design reviews and support engineering change management. - collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams. - perform tolerance stack-up analysis and support gd& t implementation. - participate in dfmea, design validation, and issue resolution activities. - ensure designs meet cost, quality, manufacturability,



and timing objectives. Required qualifications - bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or related field. - experience in automotive interior component design. - strong knowledge of plastic injection molded parts. - experience using catia v5/v6 or nx - understanding of gd& t and engineering drawings. - experience working with oems or tier 1 suppliers. - intermediate to advanced english proficiency. Preferred qualifications - experience with center console systems. - knowledge of automotive product development processes. - experience with storage bins, cup holders, armrests, shifter bezels, trim components, or console assemblies. - familiarity with dfmea, dvp& r, and design release processes.
