we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data & analytics it director latam to lead complex and strategic data and analytics initiatives in latin america. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and scaling integral or zone data & analytics programs and products for l'oréal in the latin america region, driving the data & analytics strategy of the l'oréal group and the chief data & analytics officer (cdao) in the latam region.

responsibilities lead and manage teams, including establishing and managing transversal internal and external teams to deliver multiple concurrent latin america demands, projects, and products. Mentor, recruit, set performance goals, evaluate, and coach team members. Plan, lead project team meetings and steering groups, prepare status reports, track issues and risks, monitor critical path items, and handle escalations. Manage finances, including budgeting, purchase order management, and financial forecasting. Manage vendors, contract management, and develop partnerships and working methods with vendor teams. Propose and design sustainable and standardized solutions across the zone. Assess system technical/functional capabilities and the implications of system changes. Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management. Collaborate with business relationship management teams in preparing business cases for project or product approval. Facilitate qa process, ensuring it and uat testing are completed to a high standard.



Resolve production issues and communicate with support teams to minimize impact and accelerate resolution. Implement change management processes to capture change requests, communicate impact, request stakeholder decisions, and execute changes when applicable. Requirements bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or equivalent experience. Excellent spanish language skills. High level of english proficiency. Over 7 years of team leadership experience. Solid foundation in delivering data & analytics solutions including elt/etl, database/analytical, and data visualization technologies. Experience with cloud data platforms (azure, google cloud platform) is beneficial. Experience with sap and pos (sell‑out) data is beneficial. Ability to think strategically and align data and analytics initiatives with overall business strategy. Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate the team, set clear goals, provide guidance, and ensure project delivery excellence. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior management and deliver challenging messages. Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative in a demanding environment. Demonstrated team‑player ability, building strong relationships across all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and maximize value of data and analytics initiatives.
