For our offices in mexico city we are searching for a senior software developer. Main tasks and responsabilities: backend development design and implement secure, scalable serverless microservices and restful apis using type script/node.js, event bridge, and occasionally java/spring boot. Write clean, cost-efficient code based on domain-driven design and clean architecture, ensuring performance optimization and robust async communication. Cloud-native development build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using infrastructure-as-code (cloud formation, aws sam) and core aws services (lambda, dynamo db, api gateway). Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using cloud watch and x-ray while strictly applying aws security best practices. Code quality and testing write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests (jest, playwright) to ensure strong test coverage and sonar qube quality standards. Participate in code reviews and enforce consistent coding, linting, and formatting practices across the team. Collaboration and technical ownership partner with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and designs. Take full ownership of assigned features from design to deployment, communicating technical concepts clearly to all stakeholders. Mentoring and knowledge sharing mentor junior developers to support their technical growth while fostering a team culture of continuous learning and improvement. Share best practices, contribute to technical documentation, and provide clear code examples for the team. Expected results: high-quality, well-tested backend services and microservices.
