**About this role**:




The Accounts Receivable Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of AR analysts to ensure timely and accurate cash collection, credit risk management, and compliance with company policies. This role acts as a key link between AR operations, internal stakeholders, and management, driving performance, process efficiency, and team development.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Receivable analysts.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback through 1:1s and performance reviews.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables in line with targets.
- Monitor and manage aging, overdue balances, and credit exposure.
- Support monthly and year end closing activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and controls.
- Act as the main AR for contact with Sales, Customer Service, Credit, Finance, and other internal teams.
- Resolve escalated customer and internal issues professionally and effectively.
- Balance business enablement with credit risk mitigation.
- Support audits and internal/external reviews.
**Required Competencies & Qualifications**:




- Team player with a high level of personal motivation and a customer-centric approach, ensuring positive relationships
- Strong evaluation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow defined strategies and manage multiple competing priorities to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
- General accounting knowledge
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Work, Outlook); prefer some experience with Power BI.
**Required Experience Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 4-7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, credit risk, and collection of strategies.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle is desired)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting and dashboards.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken); additional languages a plus.
