**What you'll do**:
**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**:
- A. Execution of facilities’ preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance keeping direct communication with the Operational Manager and management staff for all changes that affects safety, product quality and / or operating conditions of the plant
- B. Ensure the proper execution of work orders concerning general plant maintenance under safety conditions.
- C. Responsible for the design of the department structure including job descriptions, training, performance review and coaching to develop functional experts.
- D. Participate for the Plan, develop and implement new methods and procedures related to facilities maintenance to drive improvements, minimizing operating costs and reducing environmental impact.
- E. Participate for the design and implementation of equipment installation standards, and the administration of electrical, pneumatic and thermal power distribution at the facility.
- F. Participate for the activities related to building maintenance and Housekeeping assuring high standards.
- G. Participate for managing facilities risk assessments such as FM General,



ensuring the all critical elements and gaps are closed on a timely manner.
- H. Participate in monitoring and measuring programs for Safety, Environment and Health according to his area of management such as the Fall protection, Energy control (Lock out - Tag out), Electrical safety, confined spaces etc.
- I. Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
- J. Participate in MESH Category 8 Process Safety (Fall protection, Electrical Safety, Confined Spaces, Hot Work) etc.
**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Technician in Electromechanics or Mechatronics or in a related field
**Years and area of experience required**
- Min 1 years of experience as Facilities Technician in the same industry field (Desirable)
**Technical knowledge**
- Experience in implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance. Knowledge of measurement equipment such as Multimeter, ammeter, megger, Vernier, micrometer, etc
