About The Role
This position is responsible for ensuring the calibration, traceability, reliability, and compliance of laboratory equipment used for HW Environmental validation testing. The role supports the operation of ISO/IEC 17025 aligned laboratory systems by managing calibration programs, measurement systems, accredited suppliers, metrological traceability, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Calibration Engineer works closely with Validation Engineering, Technicians, Assurance, TTR engineer, Purchasing,



and external calibration providers to ensure equipment availability, measurement integrity, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
This position has no direct reports.
What You Will Do
- Manage the laboratory calibration program for HW Environmental validation equipment.
- Maintain calibration schedules and ensure zero overdue calibrations for critical equipment.
- Evaluate and approve calibration suppliers based on technical competence, scope accreditation, uncertainty capabilities, performance, and traceability requirements.
- Review calibration certificates to verify compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, measurement uncertainty, and traceability documentation.
- Support equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and validation activities.
- Support environmental chamber calibrations following internal procedures and standards.
