Resumen: This role analyzes logistics data, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), identifies process improvement opportunities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. **Responsabilidades**:
**Mains Responsibilities**:
- Analyze transportation, inventory, and distribution data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track and report logistics performance metrics such as on-time delivery, freight costs, inventory accuracy, and carrier performance.
- Support transportation planning and shipment scheduling activities.
- Assist in maintaining accurate logistics records, databases, and reporting systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve shipping and delivery issues.
- Investigate freight discrepancies, delays, and service failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management review.
- Support inventory control initiatives and material flow optimization projects.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable transportation regulations.
- Assist with logistics-related projects and process documentation.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
**Experience**:
- 0-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, inventory management, or a related area.
- Internship or co-op experience in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, WMS, or TMS systems is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
